Dr. Daniel Eidman

Dentist

Dr. Eidman received his DDS from Touro College of Dental Medicine, earning special recognition for his excellence in operative dentistry. His commitment to providing top-tier care led him to complete a 1-year General Practice Residency at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell, during which he rotated through Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Dental clinic, gaining advanced proficiency in dental oncology and implant prosthetics.

Dr. Eidman was a biology major at Muhlenberg College, where he captained the men's golf team and holds the college’s record of lowest career scoring average. Dr. Eidman is a certified Invisalign provider and a member of both the ADA and Academy of Facial Esthetics. With a caring and dedicated approach to patient care, Dr. Eidman ensures your comfort and wellbeing throughout your dental journey. Beyond the office, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, golfing, running, and rooting for the Mets (and SF Giants).

Dr. Karen Capone

Dentist

Dr. Karen Capone is a proud graduate of the University of Dental Medicine of New Jersey (now called Rutgers School of Dental Medicine), and  has 27 years of dental experience. Dentistry must run in her genes, as her father and brother are both dentists, too. She takes a holistic approach to dentistry, treating her patients’ health and wellness comprehensively. Her touch is so gentle that patients often fall asleep in the chair!  Dr. C has been trained by some of the top periodontal practitioners in the country, and is our LANAP (laser gum surgery) specialist. Most of all, she has an almost magical capability of making even the most fearful patient completely comfortable and relaxed.  Back home, Dr. Capone loves to cook, take long walks, and enjoys taking Pilates with her beautiful daughter Tahlia.

Dr. Rosemary De Freitas

Dentist

Dr. De Freitas is a graduate of UMDNJ and has worked in dentistry for over 27 years: 10 years as a dental assistant and 17 years as a dentist. She gives the highest quality patient care, with the utmost compassion and integrity. Her patients are always amazed at how gentle a touch she has. In 2015, she was named NJ's Favorite Kids Doctor. She’s fluent in Portuguese and loves to paint, bake and run after her son Maverick in her spare time.

Dr. Raymond Kim

Orthodontist

Dr. Kim was raised in California and received his Bachelor's degree from UCLA. He attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he received his dental degree as well as his Masters in Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in orthodontics, and is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys swimming, golfing, playing tennis, and cooking. He also loves being bossed around by his two amazing daughters and talking shop with his lovely wife Dr. Jean Gong, who is also an orthodontist.

Dr. David Eidman

Clinical Coordinator

Dr. Eidman established Elmwood Dental Professionals in 1985. He recently stepped back from active dentistry, and is now the clinical director of the practice. When he is not in the office, much of his spare time is spent rooting for the San Francisco Giants, on the golf course, or fly fishing.

Nicolette Riccobono

Dental Hygienist, BSDH, RDH

Meet Nicolette Riccobono, our exceptional hygienist at Elmwood Dental Professionals. Nikki earned her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern International College and served as class president during her academic journey. Her very gentle touch and dedication to patient education make her a standout professional. She's passionate about teaching patients how to maintain excellent oral health and ensuring their comfort during appointments. Once you've had your teeth cleaned by our Nikki, you will be running back here for your next recall visit- she is that good!  Beyond the dental office, Nikki finds joy at the Jersey shore, where she and her fiancé, Joe, enjoy fishing and boating.  And, her team just recently won the NJ Play Sports Softball Championship!

Kim Powelson

Meet Kim Powelson, our dedicated expanded function Certified Dental Assistant.  Kim's passion for providing exceptional patient care, coupled with her superbly gentle hands, sets her apart as a valuable member of our dental team. Kim's extensive expertise and commitment to ongoing learning ensure she stays current with the latest dental advancements, guaranteeing the highest quality of care for our patients. She loves to smile and laugh, creating a welcoming and stress-free atmosphere that brightens the day for both patients and fellow team members. Away from the office, Kim loves to cook and enjoy time with her family.

Jenn Pezzuti

Dental Assistant, RDA

Jennifer Pezzuti, a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), has been an invaluable part of our dental office for two decades. Her warmth, charm, and expertise have made her a beloved figure among our staff and patients alike. Jenn's remarkable ability to put patients at ease sets her apart in the dental field. Jenn’s patients especially appreciate her very gentle touch and her wonderful smile. Beyond her professional role, Jennifer is a loving mother to two boys, "little T" and "Gio."

Tracy Kallert

Practice Manager

Tracy has been with Elmwood Dental Professionals for over 25 years. She is dedicated not only to her profession but to our patients, who have become like family to her. Tracy is always available to ensure our patients receive the finest dental care with as little financial stress as possible. She is always here to answer your questions and help families get the most out of their dental insurance benefits. When not in the office Tracy enjoys weekends at the Jersey shore, reading, spending time with her family, and being the Mayor of her hometown, Woodland Park.

Chris Otte

Insurance Coordinator

Chris is an amazing asset to our dental practice. Not only does she handle our patients’ insurance needs like a pro, she can also do just about every other job in the office as well. She can often be found working alongside our assistants and hygienists to make sure our day runs smoothly and our patients are well cared for. Her sense of humor and can- do attitude are just what the Doctors ordered. When not running around our office, Chris loves spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons, Ty and Maddox.
